These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Find Handmade's business marketing services, including joining our business mailing list and participating as a paying member of a Find Handmade marketing cohort.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting your details through a Find Handmade business landing page or accepting an invitation to join and pay for a Find Handmade cohort.
By submitting your details through a Find Handmade business landing page, you agree to the terms that apply to prospective marketing contacts set out below.
By accepting an invitation to join a Find Handmade cohort and making payment, you agree to the terms that apply to paid Cohort Members.
1. About Find Handmade
Find Handmade is the trading name used by Mia Greaves and Thomas Greaves, trading as Find Handmade.
Together, the partners operate the Find Handmade business as a partnership.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "Find Handmade", "we", "us" and "our" means Mia Greaves and Thomas Greaves, trading as Find Handmade.
"You" and "your" means the business or individual acting on behalf of a business that submits information to us or becomes a Cohort Member.
2. Definitions
Business Contact means a business or individual representing a business who has provided, or whose business contact information has been obtained for, the purpose of being contacted about Find Handmade.
Cohort means a themed group of complementary handmade businesses brought together by Find Handmade for a shared marketing campaign.
Cohort Member means a business that has been invited to join a specific Cohort, has accepted the invitation and has paid the applicable fee.
Marketing Services means the marketing activities provided by Find Handmade as part of a Cohort, as described in the applicable offer, invoice or other written agreement.
Subscriber means a business or business contact who voluntarily provides their contact information through a Find Handmade business landing page for the purpose of receiving marketing communications from Find Handmade.
Client Materials means information, photographs, logos, product information, website links, brand assets and other materials provided by a Cohort Member for the purpose of delivering the Marketing Services.
3. Business marketing sign-ups
3.1 Voluntary sign-up
Find Handmade may operate landing pages through which businesses can provide their name, business name, business email address and website address.
By submitting your details through such a page, you acknowledge that Find Handmade may use those details to communicate with you about:
Find Handmade
relevant marketing cohorts
potential participation in a Cohort
Find Handmade services
related business marketing information
Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK direct-marketing law.
The rules for electronic marketing differ depending on whether the recipient is a corporate subscriber, sole trader or another type of individual subscriber. Find Handmade will apply the appropriate requirements to the relevant contact.
3.2 No obligation to join
Submitting your details through a Find Handmade landing page does not create an obligation to purchase any Find Handmade service.
Equally, submitting your details does not guarantee that your business will be invited to join a Cohort.
Find Handmade may select Cohort Members based on the suitability of a business and its products for a particular Cohort.
3.3 Unsubscribing
You may opt out of Find Handmade marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in our emails or by contacting us.
We may retain limited information about your marketing preference or objection where necessary to ensure that we do not send you unwanted marketing.
4. Invitation to join a Cohort
Find Handmade may invite selected businesses to participate in a particular Cohort.
An invitation may contain information such as:
The name or theme of the Cohort
The intended customer audience
The services included
The applicable fee
Payment arrangements
The proposed start date
Any specific terms applying to that Cohort
An invitation does not become a paid service contract until you have accepted the offer and made the required payment, unless otherwise stated in writing by Find Handmade.
Find Handmade reserves the right to decline or withdraw an invitation before payment is made.
5. Formation of the paid Cohort contract
A contract for paid Cohort Services is formed when:
Find Handmade has offered you a place in a specific Cohort;
you have accepted the offer; and
the required payment has been successfully made.
The applicable invoice, offer, written agreement and these Terms & Conditions together form the agreement between you and Find Handmade.
Where there is an inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and a specific written agreement or offer provided to you, the specific written agreement or offer will take precedence for that particular matter.
6. The Find Handmade Cohort model
Find Handmade brings together selected complementary handmade businesses into themed marketing Cohorts.
The purpose of a Cohort is to allow participating businesses to be marketed together to a shared customer audience.
Each Cohort may be organised around factors such as:
A particular customer persona
A particular lifestyle or interest
A product category
A specific problem or need
A themed collection of complementary handmade products
Find Handmade determines the structure, theme, positioning and participating businesses for each Cohort.
Participation in a Cohort does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship or legal association between Cohort Members.
Each Cohort Member remains an independent business responsible for its own products, customers, orders, taxes, legal obligations and business decisions.
7. What the Marketing Services may include
Depending on the Cohort and offer purchased, Find Handmade may provide some or all of the following:
A dedicated Cohort landing page
A lead magnet or other incentive designed to attract suitable potential customers
Paid advertising campaigns
Email marketing campaigns
Introduction of Cohort Members and their products
Product-focused marketing
Educational and informational email content
Brand and business storytelling
Trust-building marketing content
Promotional offers
Email-list management
Campaign planning
A/B testing of marketing content where appropriate
Monitoring and optimisation of campaigns
Marketing performance analysis
The exact services included in your Cohort will be those described in the offer, invoice or written agreement provided to you.
Find Handmade may reasonably adapt the format, timing, content and methods used to deliver the Marketing Services where this is necessary to operate or improve the campaign.
8. Advertising
Where paid advertising forms part of your Cohort package, Find Handmade will use reasonable professional judgement to plan and manage the agreed advertising activity.
Advertising may be undertaken as part of a pooled Cohort campaign rather than as a completely separate advertising campaign for each individual business.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Find Handmade does not guarantee:
A specific number of impressions
A specific number of clicks
A specific number of leads
A specific number of email subscribers
A particular advertising cost
A particular conversion rate
A particular return on advertising spend
A particular number of sales
Advertising platforms are third-party services and their availability, pricing, algorithms, targeting options and performance may change without notice.
9. Email marketing and Cohort subscribers
Find Handmade may operate the landing page and email marketing campaign through which members of the public or potential customers provide their email address to receive marketing relating to a particular Cohort.
The email list generated through a Find Handmade Cohort is managed by Find Handmade.
Your participation in a Cohort does not automatically give you ownership of, or direct access to, the email addresses collected through the Cohort campaign.
Find Handmade will determine the structure, timing and content of the shared email campaign, subject to the services agreed with Cohort Members.
Find Handmade does not permit Cohort Members to use the collected subscriber information for their own unrelated marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.
10. Client responsibilities
To enable us to deliver the Marketing Services, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information reasonably requested by Find Handmade.
This may include:
Business information
Product information
Prices
Website links
Product photographs
Logos
Brand assets
Offers or promotional information
Information about your target customers
Information reasonably required to create marketing content
You agree to provide requested materials within a reasonable timeframe.
Where you fail to provide information or materials reasonably required to deliver the service, Find Handmade may be unable to include certain products, offers or information in a campaign.
Find Handmade will not be responsible for delays or reduced campaign activity caused by your failure to provide information or materials on time.
11. Client warranties
You confirm that information and materials you provide to Find Handmade are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You also confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide and authorise Find Handmade to use any photographs, images, logos, written material, trademarks or other content supplied by you.
You must not provide materials that:
Infringe another person's intellectual property rights
Are knowingly false or misleading
Are unlawful
Contain material that you do not have permission to use
Make claims about your products that cannot properly be substantiated
You remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of claims relating to your own products.
12. Use of client materials
By joining a Cohort, you grant Find Handmade permission to use the Client Materials you provide for the purpose of delivering and promoting the agreed Marketing Services.
This may include displaying or reproducing your:
Business name
Business description
Website
Product information
Product photographs
Logo
Other supplied brand assets
in relevant Cohort landing pages, email campaigns, advertisements and other marketing materials created as part of your service.
You retain ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property and Client Materials.
13. Find Handmade intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Find Handmade retains ownership of its own:
Marketing strategies
Campaign structures
Templates
Email frameworks
Original copy created independently by Find Handmade
Designs
Systems
Processes
Training or internal materials
Other intellectual property belonging to Find Handmade
Your Cohort membership does not transfer ownership of Find Handmade's underlying intellectual property to you.
You may use materials specifically created for your business as part of the service for your own business marketing, subject to any third-party rights.
14. Approval and amendments
Find Handmade may create marketing content using information and materials supplied by you.
Where we specifically provide content to you for approval, you agree to review it within a reasonable time-frame and notify us of any factual errors or necessary corrections.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Find Handmade is not required to obtain individual approval from you before every marketing communication within a Cohort.
You remain responsible for identifying factual inaccuracies in information about your own business or products.
15. Cohort positioning and changes
Find Handmade may make reasonable changes to a Cohort where necessary for operational, strategic or marketing reasons.
This may include:
Changing campaign timing
Adjusting messaging
Adjusting the target audience
Changing advertising channels
Changing email frequency
Adding or removing marketing activities
Changing the number of participating businesses
Moving a business to another suitable Cohort
Where a material change substantially affects the service you have purchased, Find Handmade will communicate this to affected Cohort Members.
16. Fees and payment
The applicable Cohort fee will be stated in your invoice, offer or written agreement.
Payment will be made using the payment method specified by Find Handmade, which may include Stripe.
Payment obligations are governed by the invoice and these Terms & Conditions.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Fees must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
Find Handmade may suspend services where payment is overdue.
Find Handmade is not required to continue providing paid services while an undisputed invoice remains unpaid.
You remain responsible for any charges properly due under the agreed service.
Find Handmade may use Stripe or another authorised payment provider to process payments.
17. Subscription and renewal
Where a Cohort service is sold on a recurring basis, the payment frequency and renewal arrangements will be stated in your offer or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a recurring Cohort service will continue until cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.
18. Cancellation by the Cohort Member
A Cohort Member may cancel their ongoing service by providing the required notice set out in their offer or written agreement.
Cancellation notice period: 60 days
Any fees falling due during the applicable notice period will remain payable unless Find Handmade confirms otherwise in writing.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for services that have been provided or committed.
19. The Find Handmade 30-Day Service-Fee-Back Guarantee
Where the Find Handmade 30-Day Service-Fee-Back Guarantee applies to your Cohort package, Find Handmade will refund the applicable Find Handmade service fee for the first 30 days of the service where you have completed the actions reasonably requested by Find Handmade during that period and remain otherwise eligible under the guarantee terms.
The guarantee applies to the Find Handmade service fee only.
It does not automatically include:
Advertising spend
Third-party platform costs
Payment-processing fees
Product costs
Manufacturing costs
Shipping costs
Other expenses incurred by your business
To qualify for the guarantee, you must have completed the reasonable actions requested by Find Handmade within the relevant timeframe, including providing required information, materials and approvals where applicable.
The guarantee does not constitute a guarantee of:
Sales
Revenue
Profit
Leads
Email subscribers
Website traffic
Advertising performance
Return on advertising spend
The full operation of the guarantee will be subject to any additional written guarantee terms supplied with your Cohort offer.
20. No guarantee of financial results
Find Handmade provides marketing services designed to create opportunities for participating businesses to reach potential customers.
We do not guarantee any particular financial or commercial outcome.
Results can be influenced by factors outside our control, including product demand, pricing, customer behaviour, seasonality, stock, fulfilment, website performance, market conditions, advertising-platform performance and the actions of the Cohort Member.
Our separate Earnings & Results Disclaimer forms part of the information provided to prospective and existing clients.
21. Client's responsibility for products and customers
Each Cohort Member remains solely responsible for:
The products it sells
Product safety
Product descriptions
Pricing
Product availability
Stock
Order fulfilment
Delivery
Refunds
Complaints
Customer service
Consumer rights
Applicable taxes
Product-specific legal requirements
The accuracy of claims made about its products
Find Handmade does not become the seller, manufacturer, retailer or supplier of a Cohort Member's products merely by marketing them.
Any purchase made by a customer is a transaction between the customer and the relevant Cohort Member unless expressly stated otherwise.
22. Customer and subscriber data
Under the standard Find Handmade Cohort model, Find Handmade operates the Cohort landing page and collects the email addresses of people who choose to receive marketing from that Cohort.
Cohort Members will not automatically receive copies of the subscriber list or unrestricted access to subscriber personal data.
If a Cohort Member asks Find Handmade to process an existing customer database or other personal data on its behalf, the parties will first determine their respective roles under applicable data protection law.
Where Find Handmade acts as a processor on behalf of a Cohort Member, a separate written data processing agreement will be entered into where required by law. UK GDPR requires written contractual provisions where a controller engages a processor.
23. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to treat genuinely confidential business information received from the other party as confidential and not disclose it except where:
Disclosure is required by law;
Disclosure is necessary to deliver the agreed service;
The information is already publicly available;
The other party has given permission; or
Disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.
This obligation does not prevent Find Handmade from using Client Materials in accordance with these Terms & Conditions where the client has authorised that use.
24. Third-party services
Find Handmade may use third-party platforms and suppliers to operate and deliver the service, including:
Stripe
Jotform
Dropbox
Advertising platforms
Social-media platforms
Website and hosting providers
Analytics and technology providers
These services are independent third parties.
Find Handmade will take reasonable care in selecting and using third-party services but cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability or control changes made by those providers.
25. Service interruptions and events outside our control
Find Handmade will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed services.
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including:
Platform outages
Advertising-platform restrictions
Website or hosting failures
Internet or technology failures
Government action
Natural disasters
Cybersecurity incidents
Changes to third-party platform policies
Other events outside our reasonable control
Where reasonably possible, we will take appropriate steps to minimise the effect of such events.
26. Limitation of liability
Find Handmade will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
To the extent permitted by law, Find Handmade will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your participation in a Cohort, including loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
27. Suspension or termination by Find Handmade
Find Handmade may suspend or terminate your Cohort membership where reasonably necessary, including where:
Payment is overdue
You repeatedly fail to provide information or materials required to deliver the service
You provide materially false or misleading information
You breach these Terms & Conditions
Your conduct materially disrupts the Cohort
Your products or activities create a significant legal or reputational risk for Find Handmade or other Cohort Members
You engage in abusive, threatening or unlawful behaviour
Continuing the relationship would otherwise create a serious risk to Find Handmade or others
Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to address the issue before terminating the service.
Termination does not remove payment obligations that have already accrued.
28. What happens when membership ends
When your Cohort membership ends:
Find Handmade will stop providing the paid Cohort Services after the applicable end date.
Your right to receive new Cohort marketing services will end.
We may remove your business from active Cohort campaigns and landing pages where appropriate.
We may retain information where necessary for legal, accounting, compliance or legitimate business purposes.
Your Client Materials may be retained or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement.
29. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Changes will apply to future services and agreements from the effective date stated in the updated version.
Changes will not retrospectively alter rights or obligations that have already accrued unless required by law or agreed between the parties.
Where we make a material change to the terms applying to an existing recurring service, we will provide reasonable notice.
30. Complaints

We will consider the matter and attempt to resolve it reasonably.
31. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and any agreement between you and Find Handmade are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply to the parties.
32. Entire agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable Cohort offer, invoice, written agreement, Privacy Policy and any specific guarantee terms supplied to you, form the agreement between Mia Greaves and Thomas Greaves, trading as Find Handmade, and the Cohort Member in relation to the relevant services.
No other statement or representation is intended to create a contractual obligation unless expressly agreed in writing.
